In Croatian market at this moment there is no optimal fruit and vegetable market, which would regulate the offer and demand of fruit and vegetables, as there is in more developed European countries. Because of the lack of possibility for placement of fruit and vegetables at acceptable prices, there was a need for setting up an online platform called Fruit and Vegetables Market. Buying stations (selling points) cannot satisfy the market demand of Croatian manufacturers, and the manufacturers themselves are more focused on successful production rather than on successfully placing their products.
